Seicho-ji Temple

清澄寺 · Buddhist temple

Chiba Prefecture's tourism association describes it as a large temple in the hills of Kamogawa City, and says that the sunrise seen from the temple is said to have inspired the founding of Nichiren Buddhism.

Kamogawa City lists a bronze standing Kannon Bosatsu and a wooden standing Nyorai at the temple among its city-designated tangible cultural properties.
