Ryuunzan Gojiin Taisanji

瀧雲山 護持院 太山寺  ·  Buddhist temple

Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, temple 52  ·  Matsuyama City official tourism site — Taisan-ji / Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites Association — Ryuunzan Gojiin Taisanji (English)

The Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites Association records that Kobo Daishi carved a statue of Jizo Bosatsu here and gave the temple its name, and that the name carries the sense of quieting the dead.

Matsuyama City's tourism site gives the times for the reception desk. The association records the temple's full name as Ryuunzan Gojiin Taisanji, which distinguishes it from the temple of the same short name at number 56 in Imabari.
