Fumonzan Koanji Temple (Nakada Kannon)

The Aizu Japan Heritage site records that Nakata Kannon is the 30th of Aizu's 33 Kannon pilgrimage sites, and that the temple was named Koan-ji because it was built in the second year of the Koan era, 1279.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the altar cabinet of the temple's old Kannon hall as an Important Cultural Property of the late Kamakura period.
