Saikokuji Temple

西國寺  ·  Buddhist temple

Hiroshima's official travel guide records that the temple is said to have been founded by Gyoki, and that it stands on the middle slope of Mount Atago, one of the three mountains of Onomichi.

The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the temple's golden hall as an Important Cultural Property of the early Muromachi period.
