Chūson-ji Temple
中尊寺 · Buddhist temple
The temple's own English page records that, according to temple records, Chuson-ji was founded in 850 by Ennin, and that its Konjikido, a small, golden Amida hall, was the first structure designated a Japanese National Treasure.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the Konjikido as a National Treasure of the late Heian period.

The temple lists these charges for its standard ticket to the Konjikido and the Sankozo. It also lists a combined ticket that adds a showing of hidden Buddhist images, at a higher charge.
