Iwayakumanoza Shrine

岩屋熊野座神社 · Shinto shrine

Hitoyoshi City's Japan Heritage council records that the shrine attracted followers during the rise of the Kumano faith, that it was renovated many times by the Sagara clan, and that it has a stone torii gate, a style rare in the Hitoyoshi Kuma region.

The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the shrine's central sanctuary as an Important Cultural Property of the Momoyama period.
