Myosenji Temple
妙宣寺 · Buddhist temple
Sado City's tourism website records that Endo Tamemori, who served Nichiren during his exile on Sado, opened his residence as a temple with his wife in 1278, and that this is said to be the origin of Myosenji.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the temple's five-storey pagoda as an Important Cultural Property of the late Edo period.
