Kunozan Toshogu
久能山東照宮 · Shinto shrine
Shizuoka City's tourism bureau records that this was the first shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, that it has a history of over 400 years, and that its buildings were designated a National Treasure in 2010. It records that the main hall holds three spaces, with Tokugawa Ieyasu in the centre and Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi on either side.
The shrine gives separate tickets for the shrine, for the museum, and for both together. It states that the site is reached either by the ropeway or by a flight of 1,159 stone steps.
