Daisen-ji Temple
大山寺 · Buddhist temple
Tottori Prefecture's official tourism guide records that Mount Daisen once housed over one hundred temples and 3,000 monks in the Heian period, and that the main hall of this Tendai temple was restored in 1951 after most of it was destroyed by fire in 1928.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records the temple's Amida-do hall as an Important Cultural Property of the late Muromachi period.
