Shokoji Temple
勝興寺 · Buddhist temple
The Japan Tourism Agency's English text records that Shokoji was founded in 1471 as a temple of the Jodo Shinshu school of Buddhism, and that it was rebuilt at its present site in 1584.
It records that the temple has twelve buildings, all Important Cultural Properties, and that its Main Hall, Reception Hall and Entrance Hall are National Treasures.

The temple calls this charge a cultural property contribution. These are the charges for individual visitors. The temple states that from 29 December to 4 January only the main hall and grounds are open, without a charge.
