Saikyo-ji Temple
戒光山 西教寺 · Buddhist temple
The Biwako Otsu Tourism Association records that Saikyo-ji Temple was built by Prince Shotoku and restored by the priest Shinsei, and that it is the head temple of the Tendai Shinsei school.
The temple's main hall and its guest hall are on the national cultural property register. The tourism association lists the temple among the places in Sakamoto known for autumn leaves.

- Keihan Sakamoto Station — 20 minutes on foot
- From JR Hieizan-Sakamoto Station, take the bus and get off at the Saikyo-ji stop
